COUNTY OF KENOSHA Deputy County Clerk, Part-Time in KENOSHA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Kenosha County Clerk\'s Office is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Deputy County Clerk. The Deputy County Clerk works under the direction of the County Clerk and assists in the performance of the duties of the County Clerk\'s Office in accordance with Section 59.23 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Additionally, the Deputy County Clerk may be required to perform the duties of the Chief Deputy County Clerk in his/her absence. Duties include: Provide customer service and assist the public by relaying the services provided by the County Clerk\'s Office, in person, via email, and over the phone Receive money from customers and enter into cash receipt system; prepare transaction reports and daily deposits Receive, review, and verify US passport applications; take passport photos Receive applications for marriage licenses, domestic partnership terminations, timber notices, and cabaret licenses; perform notary services Prepare and distribute the weekly meeting schedule for the County Board Committees; assist other County committees and boards Attend meetings of the County Board of Supervisors and perform functions of recording the County Board meetings, as necessary Assist in maintaining County Clerk and County Board of Supervisors webpages Assist in maintaining tax deed records; prepare tax deed information, tax deed auctions, and reports for the Finance/Administration Committee Assist in the development of the annual Directory of Public Officials Receive and file relocation orders for roadways from government agencies Receive and process claims filed against Kenosha County Maintain files and records received from other departments, municipalities, and government agencies required to file with the County Clerk Assist with public records requests Assist voters with election-related questions and help with preparation of election materials for publication/educational purposes Perform other duties as required or assigned Working for Kenosha County will allow you to make an impact on the quality of life for its citizens.
