Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Milling department on our 2nd shift team. This opportunity offers a 4-day work-week (Mon - Thu) and a $3/hr. shift premium. Hard Skills
10+ years of experience setting up and running CNC Mill Machining Centers
Experience programming CNC Mill Machining Centers
Ability to make edits, offsets, and perform tool changes
Expert level knowledge of G-Code
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with live tooling
NEED FANUC EXPERIENCE
10+ years of CNC set up and operation (mills)
10+ years Blueprint Reading
10+ years inspection with micrometers, calipers
Soft Skills
Expert in CNC Milling with extensive job knowledge and experience
Ability to work well in a close-knit team
Attention to detail and satisfaction in a job well done
Ability to handle a variety of jobs and challenges each shift
Independent problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
1 opening on 2nd shift: 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM - Monday-Thursday. Job Shop environment making products for various industries including medical device, surgical instruments, diesel, automotive, and agricultural. Approximately 50 employees in the company. Most machines for turning and milling are Mor Seiki.
