Job Description Summary Responsible for the effective cleaning and sanitation of the equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and producing a good quality product. Job Description • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. • Clean sanitation areas, equipment, and machinery by using the proper equipment. • Properly handle foamer and other chemicals used in the sanitation process and know the purpose of each chemical used. • Complete accurate paperwork for the assigned areas • Execute the cleaning of designated sanitation areas. • Notify sanitation or production supervisor of any safety concerns or equipment problems. • Must have ability to drive a forklift safely. • Inspects equipment after each clean up to make sure it is clean and ready for inspection. • Scrub equipment and machines during clean up or as needed • Clean designated area and shovel debris from the floors. • Responsible for cleaning the equipment, including cleaning floors, dusting equipment, pipes, ceiling, washing walls, windows. • Ability to work as part of a team, capable of learning multiple jobs and maintaining a high quality of work. • Actively participate in the training of new employees • Other duties will be assigned as needed. Basic & Preferred Qualifications • Regularly exposed to wet, hot, and cold conditions. • Excellent attendance • Must be able to work with chemicals • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Preferred to have sanitation experience but not required • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral form. • Experience using/working with cleaning tools. • Been able to work effectively unsupervised if required • Able to work in a team environment. • Able to lift or move up to 50lbs.
