Responsibilities
The Senior Operations-Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) by bridging the gap between operations and finance. This position is pivotal in achieving the objectives of the Operations Business Plan, establishing accurate and reliable reports, and providing data-driven actionable insights to enhance operational performance. The Senior Operations-Financial Analyst will focus on efficiency and cost savings, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and conduct needs and value assessments to optimize business processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operational Performance Analysis: Analyzes and monitors key operational metrics to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Develops and implements strategies to optimize performance and efficiency.
Financial Reporting: Prepares, maintains, and presents accurate financial and operational reports. Ensures data integrity and provides insights to support decision-making processes.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilizes advanced data analytics to provide actionable recommendations to the operations team. Helps develop effective plans to improve processes and achieve cost savings.
Collaboration: Works closely with internal teams, including finance, operations, and senior management, as well as external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for business objectives.
Needs and Value Assessments: Conducts thorough needs assessments and value analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the organization.
Project Management: Leads and supports various projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and achieving financial goals. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Strategic Planning: Assists in the development and execution of the Operations Business Plan. Provides insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Promotes a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices across operations and finance functions.
Risk Management: Identifies potential financial and operational risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Regularly reviews risk management practices and updates as necessary.
Technology Integration: Advocates for and assists in the integration of new technologies and systems that improve operational and financial performance. Stays abreast of industry trends and innovations that can benefit the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, Six Sigma) is preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in operations and financial analysis.
Proven experience in data analytics, financial modeling, and reporting
Posted Salary Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
