Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a client in finding a Systems Administrator for a 6-month contract to hire, that requires 3 days / 2 work from home at an established organization north of Atlanta. They will join a team that focuses on configuring and maintaining operating systems workstations, servers, and networking platforms. They will support the current administrators in daily operations including building out servers, performing backups, recovery, installing new software releases, patches, monitoring systems, troubleshooting network issues, scripting, participating in disaster recovery, supporting active directory, azure administration, and completing documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of new software releases and system upgrades; evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
Perform system backups and recovery.
Assist with Azure and AWS environments administration.
Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
Develop and maintain server and network documentation.
Support remote users in accessing corporate resources.
Perform system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and response.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all hardware on a routine and scheduled basis.
Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
Support, maintain, and administer third party applications.
Act as second-level support for desktop issues.
Assist Help Desk as required in desktop support activities.
Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours support.

Skills and Requirements
Cloud knowledge, specifically troubleshooting, migrations, and setups within Azure / AWS
Building out configuring servers in VMware, active directory, SCCM, and understanding group policies
Backup systems for on prem and cloud
Scripting experience in Powershell or python Citrix is completely down, how to fix it.
o Build out a golden image for another virtual desktop / virtual application
Certifications (preferred) CCP-V, CCP-N, CC-VAD-MA, MS Azure Cloud null
