We are a 3800-acre row crop farm consisting of cotton, soybeans, rice, corn, and peanuts. Our equipment each employee will be responsible for operating, maintaining and cleaning include John Deere R series tractors, Case IH tractor, John Deere 410R self-propelled sprayer, John Deere S770 and S790 combine, John Deere planters, grain buggies, semi-trucks and grain trailers, field cultivators, row crop cultivators, levee plows, rollers, disk, poly pipe. Employees will assist on crop irrigation and maintaining the wells and motors. We also have farm work pickup trucks they will be driving. They will be required to haul fuel in fuel trailers to the power units for irrigation. Employees will be required to assist in mixing and loading chemicals that will be applied to row crop. They will need to operate a forklift to unload chemical and seed. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc., attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self-propelled machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives,\ wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton stripper/picker, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc., planters, self-propelled machinery, semi-trucks, silage choppers, sprayers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce corn, cotton, rice, soybeans. Must be able to speak and understand English.
