ResponsibleforcollaboratingwiththeDirector ofProcedural Services on thedirection of Operating Room, Endoscopy Department and Sterile Processing Department.Leads and evaluatesstaffmembers inthe Operating Room, Endoscopy and Sterile Processing Departments. Consultswithstaff, physiciansand the Directorof ProceduralServiceson nursing issues and interpretationof hospital policies to ensure patient needs aremet. Coordinateswithsurgeons,scheduling, andmanagementtomaintain thesurgery and endoscopyschedule and assignment of staffand equipment. Maintainsperformance improvement activitieswithin the departments and participates in CQI activities.
Education/Experience:
- Aminimumoffiveyearsexperience in theOperating Room.
- Aminimumof two(2)yearssupervisoryexperience.
- CurrentBachelorsdegree in arelated healthcarefield preferredor enrolledin aprogram.
- CurrentBCLS,ACLS andPALScertification required.
