DEPARTMENT:Hawaii Island Health and Wellness Center (HIHWC)
LOCATION:Keaau, Hawaii
JOB TYPE:Full Time with Benefits
DUTIES SUMMARY:
Provide direct behavioral health outpatient services including intake, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling to co-occurring population or individuals with mental health issues. Ensures HIPAA and 42CFR standards are met. Responsible for referrals however not limited to BISAC making internal referrals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
- MA in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Counseling-Required.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Hawaii- Preferred.
- Additional requirements:
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance (within the last 12 months)
- Medical/Physical Clearance (within the last 12 months)
- CPR/ First Aid Certified.
Ability/Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge and experience working with Electronic Health Records is a plus
- Able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail orientated, able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
