Telespazio Belgium Senior EO Data Scientist in Katwijk Aan Zee, Netherlands

Telespazio Belgium is looking for a dynamic experienced Senior EO Data Scientist who will work the Netherlands, in Katwijk.
What is expected from you:
Post-processing of satellite and drone data by means of different GIS and image processing software.
Handling EO and GIS data with the purpose of data analysis, data management.
Writing technical proposal and reporting technical findings.
Interacting with clients for analysis reports and documentation writing.
Experienced with photogrammetric processing tools.
Experienced with ML tools such as Keras, OpenCV, Tensorflow etc.
Implementation and follow-up of projects and technical developments by following standard project management practices.
Supporting the coordination with the business development of Geo information activities
What you offer:
Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Physics or similar discipline. PhD is an asset
Experience with Earth Observation data processing at various product levels.
Knowledge of major European and non-European EO missions and relevant products.
Experience in drone data processing.
Experience in systems engineering, e.g. requirements or architecture engineering.
Expert knowledge of digital technologies applicable to remote sensing data processing, and extensive hands-on experience at least on one of them.
Familiarity with programming and scripting languages, especially python, applied to linear and distributed databases and Machine Learning.
Experience with proposal writing and familiarity with ESA processes and documentation is an asset.
Working language is English. French or Dutch are an asset.
