National Service Center (NSC) Manager / Finance Director – Poland & Baltics
In all countries where Eurofins companies have a significant presence, there is a National Service Centre (NSC) which offers country level support services in order to be more efficient, more effective and to drive an adequate level of compliance and control. The Finance Director leads the NSC organisation. The scope of services provided by the NSC includes:
Accounting and Reporting
Payroll
Tax
Legal compliance
Treasury and cash management
Insurance
IT solutions for all services rendered by the NSC,
We are looking for a Finance Director to manage the NSC that serves the Eurofins legal entities in Poland and the Baltic countries.
Position and objectives
Manage financial accounting including month- and year-end closing, ensuring reliable and timely reporting in cooperation with the Shared Service Centre, also based in Poland;
Coordinate and deliver statutory, tax and corporate reporting for the Eurofins entities in Poland and the Baltic countries;
Cooperate with internal and external auditors;
Ensure tax compliance and act as a key point of contact for tax authorities;
Manage and coordinate legal advice to the business (commercial, corporate and labour law) through external providers and Group resources;
Manage payroll, ensuring compliance and efficiency;
Support Finance IT initiatives from the country perspective including implementation of new systems and integration of acquired legal entities;
Participate in Group Finance projects and improvement initiatives;
Support in the onboarding of new legal entities acquired through M&A;
Set up and systematically improve the organisation to efficiently deliver on the services in the scope of the NSC. Driving and communicating on the performance of the NSC through measurements, KPIs, action plans etc.,

Qualifications and skills
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; nice to have – international professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA);
Fluent spoken and written English (C1);
Solid understanding of international accounting standards, relevant tax practice and transfer pricing rules;
Ability to go into detail when needed as well as maintain a ‘helicopter view’
Results oriented

Structured with strong organisational skills
Ability to work in an autonomous manner
Experience
At least 10 years of working experience in finance and managerial experience (for example as Finance Manager).
Experience in managing an accounting department as Finance Manager or Chief Accountant, or as manager/leader in a Shared Service Center (SSC)
Experience with implementation and role out of financial processes and systems
Knowledge of Polish tax and corporate legal requirements
Background in financial audit is considered a plus
