About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll, maintaining payroll records, and staying up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing the tasks related to payroll, salary taxation & other salary privilege.

  • Respond promptly and accurately to employee queries and concerns regarding payroll, tax, any other deductions, and benefits.

  • Producing accurate salary reports to specific deadlines.

  • Ensure compliance with government payroll-related regulations.

  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate payroll data with accurate benefit calculations.

  • Manage all payroll calculations including tax, benefit, and social security contributions.

  • Preparations of employee letters like salary slips, tax certificate letters, etc.

  • Other tasks as per assigned.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferable. 

Required Skills/Competencies:

At least 2-3 years of experience

  • Proficiency in Payroll, salary taxation, and other compliance implications.

  • Experience in an accounting role with Payroll knowledge.

  • Experience in overseeing payroll for more than 100 employees.

  • Proficiency with payroll software.

  • Experience in online e-tds submission and verification.

  • Knowledge of contemporary IT including word processing, email, spreadsheets, databases, and similar disciplines.

  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, initiative, and sound judgment.

  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to determine priorities, meet regular deadlines, and take/follow up action.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
