We are looking for an Engineer to shape and drive channel and business services integrations at scale. As an Engineer, you will provide expertise and direction for world class production support & site reliability engineering and facilitate adoption across different customer facing channels. You will shape, develop, and provide operational support for full-stack software applications. You will increase system resilience and serve larger customer volumes with expert-level coding, bulletproof release, and change management skills. improve automation and increase the system’s self-healing capability. Manage Application and database system maintenance, debugging production issues as they arise. You will lead architecture/performance improvements, defining best practices, building reusable components and socialize them with other teams. You will take pride in the operational excellence of the mission critical platform and overall business logic tier. You will get to work closely with channel partners, talented product owners, architects, and engineers to define and execute the enterprise vision and roadmap.

Here’s more of what you will get to do:

  • Cross-functional point of contact for technical questions with other Tech Leads and Product Managers

  • Enable creation and updating of logging standards to streamline dashboard creation and ensure usability of logging repository.

  • Drive monitoring requirements to ensure business-service level transparency for all support teams.

  • Participate in architectural decisions to ensure software transaction flows are appropriately supported and designed.

  • Is an IT infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) and works with Development teams to build to standards that drive the highest levels of availability.

  • Provides mentorship to software engineers related to design patterns that are resistant to failure.

  • Communicates effectively with Development and Operation teams to align on requirements, driving SDLC requirements, capabilities, and limitations pertinent to delivering highly resilient application.

  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies/best practices to maximize development efficiency.

  • Engage with Architecture team for the justifying the product in meeting the resiliency/compliance guidelines.

  • The position will also play a critical role partnering with other development teams, testing and quality, and production support, to meet implementation dates and allow smooth transition throughout the development life cycle.

  • Introduce new and impactful technologies to the production support tool chain to help minimize friction for production releases and that results in quick diagnosis and recovery from production incidents.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and address potential runtime issues.

  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis efforts to ensure the stability and resilience of the applications.

  • Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Mentoring your peers and demonstrate a passion for continuous learning environment for the team.

  • Responsible for evaluating and implementing orchestration, automation, and tooling solutions to ensure consistent processes and repetitive tasks are performed with a higher level of accuracy and reduced defects.

  • Build, implement and advise on recovery tooling to enforce enterprise standards and/or frameworks.

  • Chaos Engineering: Design and execute chaos engineering experiments to proactively discover and rectify potential system weaknesses, thereby improving our system's resilience to unexpected disruptions.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 4 years of experience architecting, implementing, and Production Support, and Site reliability engineering.

  • 4 year of experience building software and computer systems using a variety of languages (Java, JavaScript, Phyton, Ruby, Nodejs, or other modern programming languages

  • etc.).

  • Comfortable working with cloud-native infrastructure, such as Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Azure Cloud Services.

  • Observability tools such as ELF, OTEL, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.

  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

  • 4 years of software development and experience building adoption of site reliability principal for mission-critical applications.

  • Experience with alerting and monitoring tools.

  • Be comfortable designing stateless or stateful services on top of cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience with Agile development.

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related discipline

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Strong ability to develop unique, outside the box ideas.

  • Knowledge of DevOps related practices such as CI/CD (GIT, Jenkins, XLR), Canary Pushes/ Blue/Green deployments, Software Defined Infrastructure, and tools and etc

Helpful, but not required:

  • Prior proven experience of being a technical lead of a team of 4 members.

  • Scrum experience GitHub repo with your own code and schema design we can view.

  • Experience collaborating with third-party providers on an as-needed basis and evaluate/debug/implement 3rd party SDKs.

  • React Native/Native app development experience.
