Description
Title: Business Analyst - Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in the CPG/FMCG or Retail industry and be well-versed in data analytics, data science functions, and stakeholder management. The Business Analyst will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, documenting project requirements, and providing support throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional requirements, and use cases
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project updates and progress
Collect and analyze data using data analytics and data science functions to identify trends and insights. Should have experience working with Power BI, Power Query, DAX and excel
Develop and execute test plans and manage UAT activities
Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to optimize business processes
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the CPG/FMCG or Retail industry
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analytics and data science functions
Proven experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in testing requirements and managing UAT activities
Strong knowledge of syndicated data and Ecommerce
Technology Understanding:
- Snowflake Data Warehouse, Power BI, Tableau, Machine Learning
