Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Site: Karlsruhe, Germany
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a focus on real-time programming for the development of embedded systems on ARM-based microcontrollers and C2000 real-time microcontrollers from Texas Instruments. As a member of our technical team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing embedded software solutions for innovative products across various industries.
Your Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of electrical machines and their control, particularly permanent magnet (EC) and three-phase asynchronous motor topologies.
Design, implementation, and optimization of embedded software for real-time systems on ARM and C2000 microcontrollers.
Expertise in optimizing motor and temperature control loops.
Experience in validating control systems for electrical machines as well as sensors and actuators through prototyping and laboratory testing.
Your Profile:
A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development with a focus on real-time programming.
Proficient in C and experienced with ARM architectures and TI C2000 microcontrollers.
Good understanding of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) and peripheral devices.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge in developing real-time applications for motor control and regulation systems.
Experience with modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink for system development is a plus.
