Job Description
Job Title: Health Solution Manager
Location: Taiwan
About the role:
As an empowered leader and the face of Takeda, the role will collaborate closely with all partners directly touching the patient journey, gaining a deeper understanding of their needs, in service of connecting Takeda’s capabilities to co-create meaningful solutions.
In addition, the role will be responsible for business objectives for Rare metabolic disease field Hereditary Angioedema (HAE), acting as a trusted partner and the primary point of contact between stakeholders and Takeda, building strong partnerships with key decision makers and looking after multi-source sales, marketing, medical initiatives, collaborating with brand team to craft the overall strategic direction including disease diagnosis, supporting the proper use of Takeda’s product and sharing their merits with HCPs in a truthful and balanced manner.
Supporting the medical community with up-to-date medical knowledge, robust disease expertise and product information. Ensuring great experiences whenever partners in the ecosystem engage with Takeda employees, products, and services.
How you will contribute:
Acts as a system thinker with the ability to identify shared purposed among stakeholders and leverages this to co create solutions with stakeholders in the ecosystem. Develops, implements, and manages HAE strategies in conjunction with Marketing, Medical, Market Access and Public Affairs, and Patient service function. Oversees the entire patient journey by monitoring the consequence of initiatives.
Medical – off label science exchange and advisor board meeting coordination.
PSP – Patient tracking (include diagnosed-untreated), support case manager to strengthen Takeda PSP program and Patient Group education events.
Diagnosis – C1-INH testing code setting, implementation and dissemination
Commercial – Continue medical education/ Takeda Organized Meetings & Events (TOME) initiative
Acts as the primary point of contact of Takeda, be responsible for territory management and establish strong partnerships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
Empowered role to pull in expertise and resources locally and from the network as needed, including in collaboration with member from cross-functional team.
Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding partnering capability by removing roadblocks and optimizing the patient experience. Ensuring proper investment to support key Marketing/Medical Affairs/Market Access & Public Affairs projects by timely analyzing market intelligence with qualitative and quantitative approaches.
To be knowledgeable about information concerning need for Takeda's products, services, therapy and diagnostics, tender procurement processes, including coverage of eligible patients in the responsible regions of the respective ecosystem.
What you bring to Takeda:
Education
- Bachelor's degree required, major in medical related field or equivalent is preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare commercial/medical experience.
Working Experience
5+ years’ experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences business required.
Experience in the field of Genetics, Immunology related rare diseases is preferred.
Core competencies/Skills
Deep knowledge of patient journey and related treatment in defined disease area, enabling engagement at the specialist level
Strong ambition in achieving stretched goals and market demand forecasting accuracy desired.
The individual must have strong business acumen and negotiation skills as well as strategic selling skills.
A hunger to learn and ability to adapt to changes
Growth mindset, able to learn and unlearn quickly, take risks and experiment, and contribute to the learning cycle by sharing knowledge with others inside and outside Company.
Deep experience in agile ways of working is desired.
Good command in English both verbal and written
Open mind, innovative and positive thinking
Excellent presentation & communication skills
Possess an in-depth working knowledge of rare disease products.
Robust understanding of medical affairs strategies and tactics including evidence generation
Good computer skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
