Aston Carter Project Manager in Kansas City, Missouri

Great project manager opportunity with a great law firm in the Kansas City area. Prior legal / law firm experience is required!

Job Duties:

  • Manages LPM escalation process, including risk identification, in depth, customized analysis and presentation of creative solutions for improving overall profitability of client/matters.

  • Prepare and deliver recommendations to shareholders, senior management, and other stakeholders to improve the profitability of client/matter projects, including quantitative and qualitative analysis of current work and projected future results.

  • Leverage financial and non-financial data to drive appropriate strategies and solutions.

  • Manage metrics including profitability, efficiency, leverage, realization, budget compliance, etc.

  • Assist legal teams with matter management, through matter status tracking, budget monitoring, customized analysis, and process improvement.

  • Create and present LPM training to attorneys to grow the firm’s knowledge base.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in legal studies, business management or related required

  • J.D. or Masters degree preferred

  • Legal experience required

  • Prior law firm experience required

  • Project management experience required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
