Ervin Cable Outside Plant Design Supervisor in Kansas City, Missouri

As an OSP Design Supervisor, you’ll lead the production of telecom design deliverables while managing teams to ensure project success. In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience:
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and coordinating projects in telecom or related fields.
Solid knowledge of telecommunications networks, architectures, and construction practices.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other project management tools.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and engage with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Oversee telecom design projects, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards.
Coordinate and lead teams across multiple projects or clients, providing clear direction and fostering collaboration.
Solve complex OSP (Outside Plant) design challenges, leveraging technical expertise and creativity.
Track and report team performance metrics, sharing successes and identifying areas for improvement.
Utilize tools like Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
Maintain project documentation, ensuring data is accurate, organized, and readily accessible.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science) or 5+ years’ related experience
Proficient in the use of hardware and engineering specific software (PCs, Tablets, IKE, ArcMap, Ocalc Pro, CAD, ArcGIS, Google, etc.)
Advanced proficieny in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.)
Authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
