Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individuals to join our team as Armed Retail Security Officer. As a Armed Retail Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. You will do foot patrol designated areas, enforce security protocols, and respond to incidents when necessary.
Shifts Available:
Full Time:
Saturday-Tuesday 2p-11:30p
Sunday-Thursday 6a-2p
Monday-Tuesday 6a-2p Wednesday-Friday 2p-11:30p
Friday-Tuesday 1p-9:30p
Saturday-Tuesday 2p-11:30p
Part Time:
Wednesday & Thursday 2p-10:30p
Monday & Tuesday 6a-2p
Wednesday & Thursday 1p-9:30p
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or violations of company policies
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance
Perform access control duties, verifying credentials and maintaining proper documentation
Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to identify potential security threats
Conduct investigations and complete incident reports as required
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns
Enforce company rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
Follow proper protocols for locking and unlocking designated areas
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years old
Must have 1 year of recreational or professional firearm experience (receipts to gun range, ccw, etc)
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
Excellent observation and surveillance skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Good physical condition, capable of walking, standing, and occasionally lifting or moving objects
Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation
-Must be able to complete a week of training
