Job Description:
We are currently seeking candidates for a PRN (as needed) Armed Rotating Shift position. The PRN Armed Rotating Shift position provides the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis. This position requires individuals to be armed and has rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide armed security services on a PRN basis, covering shifts for regular security staff when needed
Rotate through different shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
Respond to alarms and emergencies, following protocols and procedures
Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches
Conduct regular security checks to identify and address any safety hazards or violations
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any security-related incidents or concerns
Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors when needed
Complete thorough and accurate incident reports as required
Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and industry trends
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid armed security license or permit
Availability to work on a PRN basis, including rotating shifts and variable schedules
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
Physically fit and capable of performing the duties required, including standing, walking, and potentially restraining individuals if necessary
Familiarity with security systems and technology
Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the role)
