Immanuel Lutheran Communities Maintenance Technician III - HVAC in Kalispell, Montana
Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain Immanuel Living physical plants, essential mechanical and electrical systems, and facility equipment in a safe operating condition. HVAC experience required.

Requirements
Graduation from high school or GED preferred
HVAC experience and certification
Basic mechanical knowledge required
At least three (3) years of experience
Current Driver’s License in good standing with the Department of Transportation of Montana
The incumbent must be at least 18 years of age, as position operates potentially hazardous equipment.
The incumbent must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time and/or deadline pressures.
Required vision abilities include close up and distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Specific Duties:
Be responsible for the overall maintenance of all Immanuel Living facilities, equipment, and grounds.
Plan, control, and complete maintenance duties by collecting and prioritizing Work Orders in compliance with established priority system.
Inspect, replace, repair, or otherwise resolve maintenance problems within a reasonable time frame.
See that emergency systems and equipment are tested and maintained in safe operating condition (eg., emergency generator, fire detection and suppression systems, ventilation systems, hot water system, resident care systems, and equipment such as resident call systems, mechanical lifts, residents beds, bathing systems).
Perform quality assurance functions, including compliance rounds, to evaluate compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations, and facility policies and procedures.
Maintain current knowledge of emergency and disaster procedures of facility.
Maintain current knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations that apply to maintenance services and records in long-term care; assure compliance with regulations as they relate to Maintenance Department.
Ensure that all corridors and egress areas are maintained to the standards established in the Life Safety Code.
Inspect physical plants for signs of rodents or pests and implement pest control programs as needed.
Ensure that Maintenance duties are completed in a quality, timely, and cost efficient manner.
Maintain an organized Maintenance shop.
Perform other duties as assigned.
