Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Assembly Operators for a local Flathead Valley company!
Work schedule: Full-time; multiple shifts available
Responsibilities:
Select, position, and secure tool in holder
Positions and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures.
Moves controls to position tool and work piece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
Operates bench grinder to sharpen tools.
Operates machines and equipment other than machine tools.
Utilize power and hand tools, including, but not limited to: drills, lathes, grinders, mills, or other metalwork
Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing
Ensure that parts are machined to specifications and meets quality guideline.
Requirements:
Frequent standing
Bending, twisting, reaching
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Specialized training in metalworking or manufacturing preferred, but not required
Basic mechanical and metalworking skills
