Job Information

JLL Warehouse Clerk in Kalamazoo, Michigan

Receive and Process packages and freight throughout the day Scan each package while unloading (FedEx & UPS) Distribute packages to proper Receiving Channel by PO# (BR or 850/810) Inspect deliveries for possible damage (notate or refuse if needed)

Log Deliveries Each Delivery must be logged w/ Time of Arrival, Carrier, Number of Pieces and Initialed

Process Capital Engineering packages and freight Log on Capital Worksheet (Vendor/PO#/PM/UKZ#/Description of Product/Amount/Project Name) Check Worksheet throughout the day for Line Items to be cleared Process Cleared Lines and stage in proper aisles to be taken by Pfizer Transportation

Coordinate with Pfizer Transportation When an End User has an Urgent package, Inform Transportation for package to be Expedited sooner Inform Pfizer Drivers what packages need priority over other packages Coordinate a Receiving Plan w/ Material Handlers Discuss a receiving plan of action fluidly throughout day with Material Handlers Plan who will do what to keep receiving process flowing and avoid freight sitting on the dock

Use the Forklift to assist in unloading freight as needed Transfer Freight to proper pallet (cocoa/aluminum) as needed Use the cheat sheet on desk to see what areas need which pallets Use pallet flipper to assist in changing pallets Coordinate w/ Incoming Delivery Drivers Discuss which freight is meant to be unloaded Coordinate which lane on the dock the freight needs to be dropped Plan method for unloading freight (pallet jack or Forklift) If a forklift is needed, Lock the trailer in using Dock Locks Coordinate w Pfizer Security Take calls from Pfizer Security when delivery arrives Confirm Delivery is to be unloaded at the 204 Dock If delivery is not meant for 204, Assist Pfizer Security to locate proper unloading location for the delivery in question

Provide Customer service when contacted via Email, Phone or in person If contacted by client looking for a package, use tracking system to locate packages Inform client of where package in question is currently located on site

Contact Vendors to obtain information needed to receive packages Use information on package to locate contact information If unable to find proper information, Use Google Explain the lack of information with specific package to obtain any information that can be used to get the package to end user Name of End User/ PO#/ name of person/company who ordered item. Deliver Packages to End User if needed. When extremely urgent packages get delivered, it may be necessary to deliver the package personally. Assist Central Stores Representatives with any issues Clean Receiving dock Sweep floors (NOT done by Janitorial staff) Clean floors with Floor Scrubber (NOT performed by Janitorial Staff) Pick up loose materials and throw out (Wrap, wood pallet scraps and misc. garbage) Special Projects Assist manager by providing general labor to support client special projects. Perform emptying of industrial vacuum collection bins or other waste receptacles. Complete safety trainings (i.e., lockout/tagout personal protective equipment, safe lifting practices, etc.), and maintain compliance, with both JLL and client programs and procedures Provide general labor for employee locker assignments, move-in's or move-out's, cleaning, and moving items to storage as instructed by supervisor. Additional cleaning and housekeeping support to be provided prior to visits, inspections, or audits.
