Epredia Internship Opportunity!
Join Epredia for an exciting summer as an Industrial Engineer Intern! You'll dive into our on-site manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and validate the effectiveness of your recommendations. With a background in industrial engineering, you'll quickly learn process flows, utilize defect investigation tools, and continuously brainstorm ways to enhance existing processes. Location: Onsite Kalamazoo, MI
What you will be doing:
provide support and guidance to increase productivity.
Provide standardization and cost reduction on filtration methods.
Attack daily process disruptions such as equipment downtime and material availability.
Initiate and execute defect reduction root cause finding activities.
Opportunity to communicate with internal and external customers as defect subject matter expert.
Skills you will need:
Currently enrolled/recent graduate in a university program related to Industrial Engineering.
Knowledge of computer applications (Word, PowerPoint), and highly skilled in Excel.
Basic understanding of statistics and analysis techniques (Mean, Medium, Mode, Variance, CPK, etc.).
Familiar with using scatter, bar, line charts to convey statistical summaries to business stakeholders.
Ability to summarize results to a broad range of audiences.
Ability to learn quickly and keep deadlines while delivering quality analysis.
Consistent communication and teamwork skills.
