Epredia Internship Opportunity!

Join Epredia for an exciting summer as an Industrial Engineer Intern! You'll dive into our on-site manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and validate the effectiveness of your recommendations. With a background in industrial engineering, you'll quickly learn process flows, utilize defect investigation tools, and continuously brainstorm ways to enhance existing processes. If you're eager to make a real-world impact, we want you! Help us revolutionize cancer diagnostics and improve patient outcomes.

Location: Onsite Kalamazoo, MI

What you will be doing:

  • provide support and guidance to increase productivity.

  • Provide standardization and cost reduction on filtration methods.

  • Attack daily process disruptions such as equipment downtime and material availability.

  • Initiate and execute defect reduction root cause finding activities.

  • Opportunity to communicate with internal and external customers as defect subject matter expert.

Skills you will need:

  • Currently enrolled/recent graduate in a university program related to Industrial Engineering.

  • Knowledge of computer applications (Word, PowerPoint), and highly skilled in Excel.

  • Basic understanding of statistics and analysis techniques (Mean, Medium, Mode, Variance, CPK, etc.).

  • Familiar with using scatter, bar, line charts to convey statistical summaries to business stakeholders.

  • Ability to summarize results to a broad range of audiences.

  • Ability to learn quickly and keep deadlines while delivering quality analysis.

  • Consistent communication and teamwork skills.
