Job Title: Engineering Project Coordinator

Job Description

The Engineering Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in gathering resources and information to implement upcoming projects. Their main duties include maintaining budgets and work schedules, organizing and participating in shareholder meetings, and ensuring all deadlines for certain projects are met. The role also involves assisting engineering in managing the Engineering Change Request/Engineering Change Order (ECO/ECR) system, creating and maintaining Item Master records and Routings in the MRP system, and assisting the engineering team with documentation and record maintenance within the QSI system. This role is a path towards a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.

  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.

  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.

  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.

  • Administer the ECO/ECR system, monitor the process, identify impediments, and work with the team to eliminate issues.

  • Maintain and publish metrics associated with the ECO/ECR system.

  • Work with design and process engineering to load and maintain item masters and routing records in the KBM system.

  • Assist engineers with project documentation storage, network hard drives, and QSI system.

  • Maintain engineering attendance records.

  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external onsite meetings.

  • Assist Quality in researching and documenting compliance.

Essential Skills

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or CAD.

  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.

  • Experience working in an engineering department or engineering support.

  • Experience with Sequel, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Effective communication acumen (verified through references).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities (verified through references).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • i Series experience.

Work Environment

The work environment includes typical hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some flexibility. The Engineering Project Coordinator will report to a Project Management Professional (PMP) and take day-to-day direction from her. The role involves working closely with product development engineers, quality engineers, and operators to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacturing. T The role offers 10 days of PTO, 6 standard paid holidays, and access to Udemy after 6 months

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.45
