Position Overview:

The Coordinator, Studio Operations is an integral role in delivering all Newell Brands strategic BU and eCommerce plans specifically related to developing omni-channel content for existing products, new product development (NPD) programs, including photography content for direct and indirect eCommerce sites. The primary purpose of this position is to support the photography studio team to produce assets for Newell Brand’s portfolio of products. This position supports the execution and delivery of end-to-end content (within defined timelines and budget).

Responsibilities:

  • Help organize and maintain shot lists for photo and video shoots, ensuring they are accurate and match project requirements

  • Assist in reviewing incoming shot lists, combining requests based on guidelines like photo direction, timelines, and budgets

  • Support communication among team members, identifying and resolving issues to maintain accurate shot lists across production phases

  • Assist in planning and executing photo shoots, participating in meetings, and ensuring clear communication among teams

  • Act as team nucleus to gather and distribute project information to team members to maintain a smooth and proactive workflow

  • Assist Studio Operations Management with content governance workflows and implementing best practices into Design projects

  • Support timely project completion by overseeing and maintaining studio and post-production project schedules, monitoring asset routing and reviews throughout project lifecycles, and serving as the task/project administrator, tracking project status and workflow within designated tools for all assigned projects

  • Execute the delivery activities for assigned projects, including releasing assets to internal teams or cross-functional partners, uploading assets to DAM, archiving assets delivered by agencies, and collecting and archiving post-production final assets

  • Receive, categorize, prepare and ship products and props used in photo shoots, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly stored when in studio

  • Regularly inspect props, photographic equipment, and studio supplies for damage or wear, arranging repairs or replacements as necessary, while also maintaining an inventory of props and replenishing supplies as needed

  • Coordinate with photographers and stylists to ensure that props align with the creative vision of each photo shoot

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing new props, staying up-to-date with industry trends and client preferences

  • Assist in on-location scouting activities and taking photos as needed

  • Assist in various operational tasks including negotiating contracts, booking talent, coordinating with external vendors, managing talent release forms to ensure all necessary documents are signed, coordinating craft services and setup for studio activities, and organizing receipts while accurately tracking expenses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field or 1-3 years of related work experience in a similar position

  • Knowledge of workflow management processes and keen prioritization skills

  • Highly organized; Detail Oriented; Resourceful; Adaptable; Proactive

  • Creative problem-solver with "can-do" attitude

  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects, under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Works well independently and in team situations

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with, and collect information from colleague

  • Working knowledge of design processes and requirements

  • Proficiency in Office 365; proficiency in Workfront or similar project management software a plus
