We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced S&OP and Supply Operations Manager to join our team. As the S&OP and Supply Operations Manager for EMEA , you will lead a team of Regional Supply Planners and Demand Planners to oversee the efficient and effective execution and continuous improvement of the S&OP process for Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) in the different Operating Units in EMEA region: North-Western Europe, South-Western Europe & Maghreb, Central Europe, Turkey Middle East & Africa.

Key responsibilities

  • Owns regional S&OP processes, incl. inventory management & service for the Region, ensuring robust processes and harmonization across ANH product families and Operating Units; co-owns target setting (inventory, cost, service) for Region, Operating Units and Sites with respective leaders

  • Actively supports the Regional Commercial Operations to ensure demand fulfilment in the Region:

  1. Partners with regional Marketing & Sales to consolidate and challenge demand for products / solutions at different stage of Product Life Cycle

  2. Delivers supply plans, execute allocation strategies following global guidelines and decisions from regional commercial stakeholders

  3. Steers decision-making related to balancing demand and supply, ensuring integrated business planning within the Regional Leadership Team

  • Partners with Procurement to ensure supply fulfillment and forecast adoption for 3rd party materials and locally sourced materials

  • Builds a strong S&OP team of Demand and Supply Planners for the region, support capability building of demand and supply planning,

  • Rolls out Supply Chain standard business processes and best practices, drive Supply Chain excellence and improvement projects

You bring

  • Minimum 7 years of experience working in and across multi-disciplinary, diverse teams in large organizations

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (in supply chain management, Sales & Operations Planning and/or demand planning)

  • Good understanding of the animal industry in terms of customer business, market and industry trends

  • Experience in ERP, Data Management & integration, report design/development, dashboarding and data mining tools such as SAP, Business Warehouse, EveryAngle, Excel, PowerBI and/or Celonis.

  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills. Ability to critically and structurally analyze problems and identify and shape effective solutions

  • Assertive, strong decision maker with demonstrated leadership and people management skills

  • Excellent communication and networking skills. Fluent in speaking English is a must. Other languages will be an added advantage

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus. Certification in APICS or other supply chain related certification a plus
