Summary:

Goldbelt Taku is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated AWS GovCloud Engineer to join our dynamic team of IT professionals. as the AWS GovCloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building and designing comprehensive

cloud-based solutions to address specific business demands. Additionally, they manage, install, test, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems and M365 tenant.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving cloud-based process difficulties
  • Automating cloud-based services and platforms
  • Migrating data from on-premises systems to cloud-based apps.
  • Keeping abreast with market trends, emerging technologies, and cloud-based initiatives
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to ascertain the modifications they wish to make to their existing systems.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of cloud computing technology to provide best practices to their employer or client.
  • Upgrading cloud storage space to maximize the retention of files and other critical enterprise data.
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity and information technology staff to ensure the protection of firm data stored on computer systems.
  • Creating and implementing cloud computing systems that meet the needs of MBI or client.
  • Collaborating with engineering and development teams to assess and select the most appropriate cloud solutions.
  • Modifying and enhancement of current systems.
  • Educating teams on new cloud technologies and initiatives.
  • Creating, developing, and deploying cloud-based modular systems.
  • Creating and maintaining cloud-based systems following industry standards.
  • Assuring that data storage and processing processes operate efficiently in compliance with enterprise security policies and cloud security best practices.
  • Detecting, assessing, and addressing infrastructure and application deployment vulnerabilities.
  • Reviewing existing systems regularly and offering recommendations for enhancements.
  • Assessing cloud strategy and program architecture.
  • Collecting system requirements in collaboration with application architects and owners
  • Developing scripts and templates necessary for resource provisioning to occur automatically.
  • Discovering and implementing industry-standard cloud service offers, as well as processes and standards that ensure the most efficient use of cloud service provider products.
  • Keeping abreast of failures and issues associated with a cloud offering.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to speak fluent English with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
  • Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.
  • Well-versed in technologies such as C#, JavaScript and SQL databases.
  • Capability to collaborate with a group of developers.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a multicultural environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience developing C# / .NET solutions with at least 5 years of experience supporting DoD or Federal projects.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in the cloud computing industry.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience with AWS
  • Strong experience in IT administration including M365
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory
  • Experience building and deploying VDI solutions including AVD, VMware Horizon.
  • Experience with working in an agile environment.
  • Experience with full-stack development.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Tier-3 / National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) background investigation in accordance with DODI 5200.02-DoD Personnel Security Program (PSP).
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $145,000
