We are looking for a skilled and versatile IT professional to join our team as a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer. You will play a dual role, ensuring the smooth operation and ongoing optimization of our ServiceNow platform while also possessing the technical expertise to design and develop custom applications. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in ServiceNow administration and a passion for building solutions to elevate IT processes.

Responsibilities

  • Administration:

  • Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

  • Configure and maintain core ServiceNow applications (Service Catalog, Service Portal, Knowledge Base, etc.).

  • Develop and implement workflows and automations to improve efficiency and user experience.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and applications.

  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.

  • Create and maintain user accounts and security protocols.

  • Maintain and improve CMDB data.

  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Assist end-users with ServiceNow inquiries and provide ongoing support.

  • Development:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Design, develop, and test custom ServiceNow applications using APIs and scripting languages.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and applications using APIs and web services.

  • Develop and implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.

  • Package and deploy custom applications to the ServiceNow platform.

  • Document code and applications for maintainability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom ServiceNow applications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience administering a ServiceNow platform.

  • Experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and automation.

  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and best practices (ITIL preferred).

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software development.

  • Experience developing on a cloud-based platform a plus.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow APIs and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide).

  • Experience with web services and APIs for integrations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications

  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

  • Certified ServiceNow Developer (CSD) or equivalent experience preferred.
