Team Overview

You will be an integral part of a team with a dynamic and ever-changing atmosphere. Good humour and laughter are the order of the day on a daily basis.

Your daily life

  • Build. You will build a production schedule that respects customer contracts while ensuring the optimization of operations;

  • Supply. You will take care of all the administrative tasks related to logistics and ensure the supply of the raw materials necessary for the production of the aluminum rod;

  • Establish. You will establish the heat treatment schedule according to the needs;

  • Support. You will support the logistics team in the entire process from planning to final shipment to customers;

  • Maintain. You will maintain a harmonious business relationship with suppliers, you will follow up on contracts, current orders, complaints and corrective requests as well as follow up with the teams;

  • Analyze. You will analyze monthly/annual requirements constantly and collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure a supply that meets needs.

  • Count. You will perform monthly physical counts of raw materials and finished goods and analyze discrepancies. The inventory is done on the last day of the month and can therefore mean that you have to work on a weekend day 4 to 5 times a year;

  • Examine. You will help Lapointe's management team examine KPIs and root causes in relation to logistics and customer services;

  • Collaborate. You will collaborate for the transition of operations in the SAP system and ensure that information is updated.

Requirements

  • 2 Years of experience in an administrative role

  • Organizational, planning, scheduling skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • French Fluent

  • English Proficient
