VF Corporation Associate, MHE in Jonestown, Pennsylvania

Material Handling Equipment Operator - 2nd Shift

Hours: Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2:30am

Pay: $18/hr + 6.25% shift differential + Performance Incentives

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Use scissor lift, counterbalance, or dock stacker to take out the bales out of the baler and place them in the recycling trailer.

  • Responsible for transporting boxes for dry outs or any special projects

  • Ensure the trajectory for boxes and totes is accurate until they reach their destination in the mezz or shipping department

  • Look and correct any jams in the conveyor system to avoid delays in the trajectory of the totes and boxes

  • Responsible for working independently to reach individual production goals safely and accurately.

  • Operate powered industrial trucks equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, or similar location.

  • Adhere to and follow all company safety procedures.

  • Lift, push or pull boxes of 35-40lbs

Skills for Success

Years of related professional experience: 1 year in a warehouse environment

Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

  • What we expect you already know: Basic level of education will be required; reading, writing, and basic numeracy, problem solving, and accountability.

  • What we will teach you: Guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse

Hiring Range :

$15.60 USD - $19.50 USD per hour
