Ritter invests heavily in the communities it serves by deploying proven, best-in-class infrastructure and technology, while coupling it with a world-class customer focused experience.\ \ General Summary:\ \ The Sr. Systems and Network Engineer is responsible for the installation, operation, monitoring, maintenance and repair of network and server infrastructures, the associated operating systems, and application software. The ideal candidate will excel as a valuable member of our IT team. Must be able to demonstrate experience.\ \ Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains network applications including routers, switches, firewalls, SAN, NAS, cabling, servers, and backup systems;
• Designs, implements, and supports all aspects of the company\'s corporate network;
• Ensures we maintain industry best practices;
• Creates timelines for upgrades, implementation, projects and deliver on schedule;
• Maintains security cameras, Windows servers, and Linux servers;
• Ensures the continuing operation of network and server hardware by proactively identifying issues and resolving those issues;
• Works to establish and deploy security standards, firewall designs, and security documentation;
• Configures and monitors all network equipment and servers;
• Performs and analyzes packet captures when needed and manages customer inquiries and problems in an effective and timely manner;
• Adds and maintains users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards;
• Installs new software applications or hardware on the LAN, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary;
• Conducts integrity checks and backups as needed;
• Participates in team meetings, providing input and suggestions;
• Manages ISE, Palo Firewalls, Cisco routers, switches, and Meraki access points;
• Performs other duties as required by the IT Manager.

\ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls;
• Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches;
• Knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE);
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 and Linux;
• Knowledge of O365 Administration, Intune, Azure AD, SCCM, SSO, ATP, and Exchange (M365 E5 suite);
• Knowledge of security and audit procedures and requirements such as SOC II and PCI;
• Knowledge of database software applications, ie, billing systems, accounting systems, and vendor order systems;
• Knowledge of network management practices and procedures;
• Skills in problem solving and attention to detail;
• Skills in diagraming using Visio;
• Skill in reading and interpreting technical documents and information;
• Skills in oral and written communication;
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner;
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments;
• Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand;
• Ability to communicate effectively with network users at all levels and with vendors;
• Ability to develop routine and special reports regarding network utilization and con ectivity.
