job summary:
Injection Molding Technician is needed for a leading manufacturer of industrial products based near Joliet, IL. This role is responsible to inspect injection molding machinery to diagnose malfunctions in equipment.
This is a direct hire (1st shift) opportunity.

Required Qualifications:
Associates degree from a Technical College OR Apprenticeship/Journeyman experience
Must have at least three (3) years experience maintaining injection molding equipment
PLC level troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints.

responsibilities:
Provides technical support to equipment, machinery, tools, and facilities equipment
Inspect machinery to diagnose malfunctions in equipment; repair and replace defective equipment.
Test and repair malfunctioning production equipment/machinery
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using electrical drawings, DMM, or PLC software.
Understand mechanical systems and troubleshoot common issues all the way up to hydraulic systems.
