This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office at a minimum of 3 set days a week (determined by leadership) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains essential IT operations (operating systems, applications/software and hardware) in client systems environment.

  • Performs client workstation management including assisting and supporting multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).

  • Provides application management including assisting and supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various applications.

  • Assists administration, implementation and maintenance of current and new Microsoft 365 cloud services. Provides technical expertise and recommendations in troubleshooting client system issues related to various M365 applications.

  • Maintains the configuration/patch management (SCCM), as well as hybrid device management. Deploys various system wide configurations to client computers and provides the reports as needed.

  • Creates/evaluates/configures/deploys and maintains client system imaging system (i.e. MDT) to meet security compliance by closely working with Cyber Team.

  • Interacts & advises Service Desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting and providing technical support especially in client computing systems.

  • Mentor and train junior administrators as required.

  • Identifies the defect of internal systems and procedures with end users and develops the plan.

  • Collaborates with Systems Administrators to engage in planning/testing/execution of the system/application deployment.

  • Tracks the system warranties and service agreement terms in client computers and performs preventative maintenance on equipment and workstations to extend their useful life.

  • Evaluates/deploys asset management system and maintains the records accordingly.

  • Records all the procedural documents and inventory lists for the periodic audit as required.

  • Additional systems administrator duties assigned as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possesses BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Technology related field plus 4+ years of direct experience in Desktop support. Or Associate degree in related field plus 6+ years of experience.

  • Demonstrates proficiency with operating a telemanagement workstation and an ability to use a variety of automated diagnostic tools for system/network troubleshooting.

  • Has comprehensive troubleshooting skills with Microsoft Windows and other OS as well as software/application support for clients.

  • Has strong knowledge of administering/troubleshooting M365 and other related cloud applications.

  • Has understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other critical server functions within computing environment.

  • Has an extensive experience in Desktop imaging such as MDT/SCCM as well as general desktop troubleshooting.

  • Has experience in asset management and organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in Desktop Imaging/software management skills.

  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, vbScript, bash, etc.
