Position Summary:
Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Practices to the fullest extent of his/her license in accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to implement the patients’ plan of care. Provides population specific care to meet the developmental needs of those patients we serve. The nurse, in conjunction with the Nurse Manager, participates in performance excellence initiatives that are focused on improving patient care and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of approved Nursing Program
Graduate Nurse Summary completed by School of Nursing or College Nursing Department
PA RN license that is active and in good standing
CPR Certification
ACLS, Trauma Nurse Course, Basic Dysrhythmia Course, Critical Care Course required or obtained within 1 year of employment
PALS within 2 years of employment
2 years experience or 1 year hospital experience in a unit with cardiac monitoring or 6 months of current ICU experience
Preferred:
- CCRN after 3 years
