Minimum
Qualifications Two (2) years of professional nursing experience.
Possession of a current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the PA State Board of Nursing; or possession of a non-renewable temporary practice permit issued by the PA State Board of Nursing.
Must also have at least one year in the provision of long-term care service as an RN which is required to include a minimum of 200 hours over the course of one full year.
Must possess a current and unrestricted RN license in PA.
Must have a PPD and flu shot annually.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Employees possessing a nonrenewable temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Must be willing to attend the Teaching-the-Educator workshop.
Must be willing to attain instructor credential for CPR and AED.
