Machine Operator I
Job Title: Machine Operator I Shift: 2nd 2:45P-1:15A
Department: Fabrication Position: Hourly
Summary:
Assemble quality tire repairs (patches) from pieces of rubber and fabric by machine and/or by hand.
Education/Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred and a minimum of one-year prior work experience.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Operate machines (TECH 1000, TECH 1001, TECH 3000, SLAM, & RO175). Must be willing to be trained and operate any machine as needed.
Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) on machines.
Keep supplies fed to the machine and assemblers.
Read and follow ISO document charts.
Follow work orders closely.
Record labor and inventory accurately in MES system.
Excellent hand eye coordination is required.
Lift, mount, and setup rolls of fabric, rubber, and Mylar on machine spindle.
