Seeking an Eager and Dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist in Johnston!!

Job Description

Ensure procedures are followed to promote strong internal controls. Steps include scanning and managing invoices within a paperless AP system, routing for approval, reviewing the invoice register, and printing and disbursing checks/ACH. Complete the month-end AP final check run, as well as period-end processing and reports. Manage the process for all Network Support Center (NSC) invoices to be paid timely and accurately. Respond to vendor inquiries, update procedures related to Accounts Payable, and provide training and backup for all Accounts Payable coordinator positions. Maintain construction in progress files and spreadsheets, as well as other necessary spreadsheets. Log and process daily cash receipts at the NSC. Complete monthly and quarterly responsibilities as specifically assigned.

Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or better in Finance or Accounting

  • 3 - 5 years of business experience in accounts payable

Work Environment

The Accounts Payable group consists of 2 individuals. Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, vision, dental, and 401(k). Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
