Our Johnson City Location is looking for someone to join our team as a Wire Machine Operator on 2nd Shift . This shift is scheduled to work Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am. Must be able to work occasional Fridays to meet customer demand.

Scope
With a focus on delivering premium quality products to our customers, safely and efficiently operates manufacturing processes required to process nickel titanium wire to a desired diameter, length, finish and form. Verify product quality using various measuring and testing instruments. Accurately completes associated documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Performs machine set-up per process and product specifications.
Loads material onto machines per work instructions.
Process wire through various equipment.
Maintain product dimensional requirements per documentation.
Maintain product traceability of wire as it moves through processes.
Identify product non-conformances and contain material per quality system.
Maintain an efficient, organized and safe work environment.
Perform preventive maintenance on various processes.
Maintaining a working supply of process chemicals used in production processes.
Complies with complaint handling process.
Depending on the needs of the company, the employee may be entrusted with and asked to perform other tasks related to his/her competence.
Education :
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Years and Type of Experience:
- Prior manufacturing experience a plus

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to properly and effectively utilize gauging and testing instruments.
Must be detailed oriented.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft office, data entry into manufacturing software)
