JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services Payments Business Manager - Senior Assoicate in Jersey City, New Jersey

The Treasury Service Payments business combines J.P. Morgan Chase's world-leading global franchise to provide integrated solutions for clients around the globe. The Sr. Associate Business Manager for the TS Payments Finance & Business Management (F&BM) organization will be responsible for supporting critical business initiatives. This role will be responsible for partnering and executing on key business priorities. The role requires excellent communication skills, and ability to "tell the story" via executive presentations. The individual will manage in a rapid pace of change, be detail oriented and possess a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels of the firm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare executive reports, presentations, and communications for a variety of audiences and constituents including Senior Management, among other stakeholders. Strong focus to understand the business priorities and ability to translate this narrative for senior stakeholder meetings

  • Act as chief of staff for TS Payments F&BM, interacting with senior leaders of F&BM management team and across key functional stakeholders to coordinate weekly meetings, monthly business reviews, all-hands, and off-site meetings

  • Further, work closely on the Commercialization work stream within TS Payments; helping drive focus on end-to-end revenue monetization and execution plans around strategic areas of growth/investment

  • Provide execution support for the business on key priorities and business activities with a quick turnaround for small and large projects

  • Support high priority initiatives working directly with F&BM senior leaders to draft presentation content

  • Manage agenda for Business Reviews by acting as the central point of contact to coordinate advanced planning activities and manage meeting content

  • Interfacing with senior executives and build relationships across various stakeholders to enable the business to achieve its objectives and to ensure initiatives are executed as planned in a properly controlled manner

  • Leverage cross-functional relationships and knowledge of the business to help influence outcomes with short turnaround times across a variety of aspects from crafting business materials, leader updates and key communications across stakeholder groups

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree 3+ years of experience managing projects in a client-focused environment, including project management skills (management consulting, payments or financial services experience a plus)

  • Exceptional storytelling skills; expert in Microsoft PowerPoint and executive presentation building skills

  • Strong project management skills. Takes full responsibility for complete, end-to-end delivery, and impact

  • Ability to work and think independently and strong initiative

  • Outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams

  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers

  • Demonstrated track record of a high level of initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating ability to work in a dynamic environment
