JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Jersey City, New Jersey
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Participate in design and develop scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams. Design and build both batch and real time data pipelines on Cloud. Data warehousing and design reporting solutions based on business requirements. Design, write, comment and unit test code to confirm software modules are of the highest quality. Build Microservices that will run on the bank's internal cloud and the public cloud platform. Handle critical and time sensitive concurrent tasks with supervision and properly escalate situations as appropriate. Write test cases, leverage unit and integration testing, develop functionality and automation. Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene, system architecture, system vulnerabilities, and cost structure. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve delivery flow across product and technology. Collaborate with teams in multiple regions and time zones. Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team. Maintain technical acumen by pursuing formal and informal learning opportunities about technology, JPMorgan Chase products, and financial services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, IT Consultant or related occupation.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $143,291 - $180,000 per year.
