This position will require 2x a week in-office at our Jersey City location.

As the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnership Marketing, you will play a crucial role in driving marketing strategies for mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration and alignment of M&A marketing with Verisk's overall marketing objectives. Additionally, you will focus on strategic partnership marketing, collaborating with partners on co-marketing initiatives to strengthen perception among clients and enhance Verisk's overall brand position.

The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that support the successful integration of acquired companies into the Verisk ecosystem, as well as driving joint marketing efforts with strategic partners to maximize market presence and thought leadership.

This is a leadership role that requires a strategic mindset, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to drive marketing initiatives across various contexts. The successful candidate will be able to identify and execute on opportunities to enhance the value of acquisitions and partnerships through strategic marketing initiatives. This position reports to the Director, Strategic Partnership Marketing and will work closely with other members of the marketing, sales, and strategy teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • M&A Marketing Plans - Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for mergers and acquisitions, focusing on pre-acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration
  • Marketing Strategy - Collaborate with leadership teams to understand acquisition target audiences, buyer personas, and marketing strategies to ensure effective integration
  • Resource Optimization - Conduct thorough analysis of acquisition marketing headcount, budgets, and trends to provide strategic recommendations for optimization
  • Messaging&Positioning - Partner with the communications and sales teams to develop messaging that highlights the benefits of Verisk's offerings to both current and acquisition target audiences
  • Campaign Development - Drive marketing initiatives for strategic partnerships, fostering strong relationships with key industry players and leveraging joint marketing opportunities
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
  • Marketing Analytics - Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Related marketing experience
    • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on B2B marketing and M&A
    • Demonstrated success with developing marketing strategy and getting key stakeholder alignment across multiple channels.
    • Proven track record of leveraging customer, market and competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategy decisions.
    • Clear understanding of the digital marketing landscape: marketing automation; demand generation; personalization; sales enablement/effectiveness; attribution reporting; campaign management.
  • Successful track-record of cross-functional collaboration with teams, contributors, and stakeholders across multiple seniority levels.
  • Proven ability to gain executive level alignment on key strategies to drive aligned business outcomes.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented to define and implement metrics to measure the impact of marketing efforts on business outcomes.
  • Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing business needs and external market dynamics.
