JPMorgan Chase J.P. Morgan Wealth Management - Sr. Associate, Investment Product Analyst in Jersey City, New Jersey

The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors and Self-Directed - our digital investing platform. The combined business has $600 billion in Assets Under Management and 5,000 advisors located across 3,500 branches and 20 offices. (MC(U1)

As the Sr. Associate, Investment Product Analyst you will support the Private Client Advisors (PCAs) from the home office, in addition to supporting various initiatives and projects of the CWM Investments & Advice team ("CWM I&A Team\"). You will become a subject matter expert on all investment strategies offered by PCAs, to be able to answer strategy specific questions, including investment views, portfolio composition, and performance. You will also be able to fully explain and coach advisors on available investment strategies. CWM Investments & Advice initiatives and projects, may include advisor outreach programs, coordinating advance education meetings, strategy teach-in sessions, new product launches and investment marketing efforts.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide product expertise on available investment strategies; Develop and prepare management level presentations in support of product strategy

  • Coach advisors on available investment products and how they fit within an overall portfolio

  • Stay abreast of JPMorgan's investment views, including specific asset classes and core managed strategies.

  • Manage incoming mailbox in an expedient manner with accuracy and respond to inbound calls from advisors and sales assistants

  • Support in-field regional Investment and Advice Specialists and proactively assist in campaigns

  • Understand and explain portfolio performance and attributes

  • Assist and coordinate with CWM I&A Team for new product launches

  • Responsible for being educated on new product rollouts on a timely basis to support the field introduction

  • Thought leadership support including: Proofreading JPMorgan market commentary for content and Chase Wealth Management commentary for appropriateness.

  • Update and maintain advisor resources including material on the CWM intranet, equity and fixed income portfolio analyses.

  • Responsible for periodic reporting, including providing product or focused initiative updates to senior management and/or product partners.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry with SIE licenses 7 and 66

  • Proficient to advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across businesses lines and key support functions.

  • A self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to execute on multiple objectives simultaneously in a demanding environment
