As a Cybersecurity Architect III at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls - Firmwide Technology Resiliency organization, you serve as a seasoned member of a team that works to deliver high-quality cybersecurity architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms. Collaborate with cross functional teams of architects to implement technology solutions and communicate risk and mitigation options using best practices in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Collaborate with Line of Business architects and Infrastructure Product technologists to develop resilient application architectures, design patterns, and infrastructure solutions that meet business continuity requirements for defined disruptive scenarios
Provide guidance and oversight in implementing technology and data resiliency controls to ensure continuous monitoring of the firm's recovery capabilities
Utilize subject matter expertise to support resiliency programs and initiatives within the technology organization
Assist in developing and implementing post-mortem and root-cause analysis processes to enhance controls and testing scenarios
Work with Product teams to ensure products are designed for resilience, with validation and continuous improvement plans in place
Partner with the Firmwide Simulation Utility (FSU), Firmwide Business Resiliency (FBR), and development teams to create new testing scenarios and capabilities
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on Cybersecurity Architecture concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Hands-on experience with expertise in areas such as Resiliency, Cloud Enablement Design & Migration, Infrastructure Design, Data Security, Endpoint/Platform Security, Distributed Technologies, Data Replication, Messaging Technology, and Application Security
Strong understanding of network architecture, including topology, protocols, components, principles, fault domains, and failure modes
Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code tools and principles
Proficient in conducting design reviews and assessments to identify system vulnerabilities, including knowledge of OWASP, NIST, and SANS standards
Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
Experience in developing solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
Hands-on experience in development, engineering, or architecture within public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong skills in developing and analyzing business and technical requirements
Ability to drive and support complex strategies and solutions
Proven ability to build strong partnerships with business, operations, technology, and external vendor partners
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Certifications in Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure or Product
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
