Position Summary:
Client is looking for a Business Analyst / Program Manager to support the Regulatory Portfolio for the Counterparty Credit Risk Technology team. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on numerous diverse responsibilities and will necessitate close partnership with senior business and technology managers in the New York time zone. The ideal candidate will have a background in working closely with development teams. The candidate is expected to have a broad understanding of all the projects within the program and be able to ensure release timelines and milestones are met. They are expected to provide direction and guidance to project managers to ensure success of the work within the program.
This individual will:
Have direct delivery responsibility for their projects (i.e. end to end ownership of the program)
Have oversight of all projects within the program and be responsible for recognizing when individual projects may be off track
Identify risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) and proactively manage/reporting RAIDs.
Review and/or publish the weekly status report for the program
Consistently meet with project managers to understand progress and issues across projects and provide support as necessary
Be responsible for weekly status reporting and preparing materials to present to stakeholders

Desired Skills:
Computer Engineering/Financial Degree
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Experience with VaR, Risk Analytics would be a definite advantage
Exposure to financial / product control functions within a bank.
Exposure to Program Project Risk Tool (PPRT)additional notes:The PMs that we hire will function as a PM/BA. Must have analytics experience, in addition to all of the program manager skills listed in the job req. We also help measure capital requirements. Must have market risk analytics experience AND credit risk experience.
