Job DescriptionAs a Part-Time Contract Support Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding, tracking, and managing agreements for business units within Verisk's Claims organization. You will support a talented team of attorneys specializing in commercial contracts, with a particular focus on post-execution tasks. This is a part-time position, and it is expected that the individual selected for this role can complete his or her responsibilities within 12-20 hours a week. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitoring and reporting contract compliance and obligations
- Populate and manage contract databases
- Track and reporting on contract expiration dates and contract renewal dates
- Conduct and produce findings in response to post-execution contract research requests, e.g., identify specific legal terms within or across one or more contracts
- Create and distribute comprehensive monthly reports on existing contracts
- Create and distribute ad hoc or custom reports on existing contracts, as needed or as requested
- Complete all ad hoc projects, special projects, and other duties as assigned
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Prior experience as a paralegal, or in providing administrative support to a legal team, and/or prior experience in contracting highly preferred; those candidates possessing such experience will be given preference
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; must excel in working in a highly collaborative environment while independently managing own workload
- Proficient and technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office web-based and desktop applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), as well as Salesforce CRM and CLM systems (such as iCertis)
- Self-motivated and self-driven, with the proven ability to think logically and quickly
- Superb ability to prioritize and both effectively and efficiently manage responsibilities in a high paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, with superior attention to detail
