We design, develop, and distribute electric fracturing systems for the construction, energy, and utility markets. Our products employ high voltage systems for safe, clean, and effective rock breaking. We are passionate about quality and are meticulous in the analysis, design, and testing of our Client pulsed power systems.

About this Role

Business Development - will report to the CEO, is a professional sales position in which one is required to sell high-voltage equipment utilizing diverse outreach methods to connect with prospective customers and develop sales channels. Successful Business Development Directors will establish long-lasting customer relationships, assist customers with equipment management, and be a resource to your customers when resolving product issues. You will be expected to help increase the sales, profit, and productivity of each customer by offering large capital equipment for the construction, utility, and energy markets.

On the day-to-day, you will

* Dedicatedly identify and engage prospective customers and offer assistance or direction to any customer that can benefit from our systems and services.

* Assist product development and our customers by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

* Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.

* Describe all equipment and service options available for customer purchases.

* Build strong rapport and life-long relationships with customers.

* Effectively overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.

* Actively use and update Client Relationship Management System (CRM).

* Promote and always embrace company Core Values.

* Set an example in areas of personal character, commitment, organization and operational skills, work habits and company's Safety Program.

* Must promote professional appearance and demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all customers, company employees and company managers in a professional manner always.

* Position will be responsible for creating a total life cycle business development function from field training, to initial installations, to recurring consumables, to full account management. It is understood that this position may be standalone for up to one year so it is an extremely hands- on position.

What We're Looking For

-5-10 years heavy equipment and/or construction equipment sales experience.

* Knowledge of construction, demolition, utility, energy industries and operational practices.

* Familiarity with using a CRM system.

* Ability to work flexible hours. One remote day per week (expected to be Wednesday) combined with an expected two days per week on the road (one overnight) and two days per week in the office. In the first few months until contacts are established there may be more days in the office. Also for efficiency it may be required to schedule up to 5 days on the road with four overnights while the average remains at 2 days per week

* Excellent customer relationship skills.

* Proven sales success in which goals were achieved or exceeded.

* Problem solving skills.

* Strong independent work ethic, able to collaborate with internal staff to achieve individual as well as corporate goals.

* Excellent customer service skills; a builder of relationships.

* Clear and concise communications skills, including development of sales processes and materials.

* Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the company.

* Monitors competitive activity/products and works with management to proactively target customers.

* Maintains all customer information for sales management using a CRM.

* Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events.

* Ability to perform new equipment field demonstrations.

* Maintains current knowledge of programs and financing to assist in the selling of new equipment.

* A strong sense of urgency, focusing on time & process management.

* Strong computer skills with a priority on Microsoft Office programs.
