Citigroup Applications Development Group Manager in Jersey City, New Jersey

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Group Manager for its Jersey City, NJ location.

Duties: Analyze business system requirements and prepare BRD/FRD. Perform business and systems analysis and code reviews for global multi-currency Core Banking and Loan platform. Develop and review technical and functional specifications of proposed technical solutions, interfaces with partner systems and data migration from legacy to new platform. Provide functional and technical solutions for financial banking industries using knowledge of Core Banking, Lending, Money Markets, Foreign Exchange & International Finance, and technology skills. Develop and implement technical systems/customizations/interfaces. Define interfaces and establish connectivity using technology stack WMQ, EMS Messaging queue, Apache Kafka and NDM Secure Plus using MSPKI security. Ensure CICD pipeline for automated deployment, with working knowledge of Bitbucket, TeamCity, uDeploy, SonarQube. Provide inputs to development team on technical design and enhancement of solutions under development throughout the SDLC. Conduct data analysis to facilitate requirement development using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Create and administer document management procedures including plans, business requirements, functional requirements, testing, and implementation plans. Identify areas for process improvement and apply Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies to improve project implementation and ensure timely project deliveries. Perform analysis, triage, and coordination of bug fixes and provide support to development/testing teams. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must possess eight (8) years of experience in all of the following: Using Java/J2EE & Spring boot Framework, Microservices Architecture; Utilizing Oracle Flexcube Extensibility Framework & RAD Tool, Apache Camel, Kubernetes; Utilizing Rad Hat Fuse, TIBCO, TalenD, Ab-Initio, Oracle PL-SQL, JS, MDB, Web-Services, and BOXI; Utilizing knowledge of EMS Messaging Queue, WMQ, Apache kafka, NDM Secure Plus Bitbucket, TeamCity, uDeploy, SonarQube, PTS-W; Handling industry architecture methodology; and Creating architecture artifacts and deliverables. 40 hrs./wk. 5% travel required to various and unanticipated domestic and international locations.
