Valley National Bank Director of Specialty Deposits - Jericho, NY in Jericho, New York
The Head of the National Deposits Group (NDG) will play a critical role in partnering with the executive leadership team in strategic decision making with a sales and operational focus around commercial deposit gathering.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build out and grow the National Deposits Group (NDG) vertical for Valley Bank.
- Lead the strategic planning and implementation of initiatives for the NDG.
- Lead client and prospect meetings and outreach efforts.
- Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders as a key liaison between the NDG, treasury, operations, credit, BSA, legal, HR, compliance, etc.
- Oversee sales and administrative functions to ensure efficient and consistent operations.
- Mentoring, coaching, recruiting and supporting new and existing team members.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years' experience in business banking, management - team leadership with superior business networking experience or High School Diploma with minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
- Must have Driver's License.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field with formal credit training is preferred.
