Our coastal open-air restaurant will showcase regional seafood and ingredients, providing a unique dining experience for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will make a mark on the island’s restaurant scene.
Job Description:
The first 3 weeks will focus on training, obtaining ServeSafe Food Handler and TIPs certifications, and getting oriented into our company culture/operating guidelines. Upon restaurant opening, responsibilities include but are not limited to Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner Assign guest to tables in accordance with needs Maintain table assignments in an organize manner and be able to work under pressure Be able to multi task and proactively look for ways to help people Maintaining contact with kitchen staff, management and serving staff to ensure everything is running smoothly Be up to date on all promotions/packages hotel is offering As needed, collect payment and input into POS Must be able to handle guests requests courteously and work a flexible schedule with professionalism and respect You are the key member making a mark on our guest experience by making them feel welcomed, comfortable and attended to
