TJ Blackburn Syrup in Jefferson is now hiring an Assistant Jelly Cook!
- Assistant cooks oversee all product preparation.
- Assistant cooks pull all raw materials for daily runs.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to work long hours.
- Must be able to report to work between 2am-3am.
- Confirms correct measurements of all ingredients.
- Responsible for Ingredient area, cooler and freezer sanitation
- Ensures appropriate wash-downs at the end of the day and during flavor changes.
- Responsible for Daily documentation of batch sheets and other required forms.
Qualified Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications below:
- Must show good work ethic, teamwork, good communication skills, and good attendance.
- No corrective action documentation or verbal warnings within 30 days of job posting.
- Must be able to follow GMP's.
- Reports to Line Supervisor.
